Harry Bookey and Pamela Bass-Bookey grew up in the Midwest, shaped by the principles of community, honesty, and civic engagement that surrounded them.

Inspired by a lifelong passion for arts and culture, Pamela established Bookey Fine Arts, an arts consulting and appraisal business. Harry left his legal career to create BH Equities and BH Management, two top-of-their-class companies guided by the Bookey family’s commitment to dignity and fairness. Harry and Pamela live in Des Moines, Iowa, where they are dedicated to supporting causes that reflect their deeply-rooted Midwestern values.

Pamela and Harry have three daughters: Jordan, Blaine, and Natalie. The sisters grew up in Des Moines with front row seats to their parents’ political activism, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement. Today, they live in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco.

The family passionately invests in organizations, leaders, and causes that embody the Bookey value of leaving their communities better than they found them.
